#4 SADLY it is determined the interior of the sign is in worse shape than we thought.
#5 Since there is enough lumber from the tree to make a new sign, the log was cut and its pieces
needed to be moved around.
Ray O'Brien saves the day with his loader.

#6 Rigging to make the first cut.
#7 First cut successful. Jeff sharpens his blades for the second cut. The wood is in PERFECT condition.... PERFECT CONDITION!!! Whihooo! !! !!!!!
#8 Second cut successful. Coraline, Frank's sister, supervises the work. Shows us we "missed a spot." (not)

#1. Transport sign to new contractor in Truckee. Transport sign back to Timberland property. Paint/stain.

#2. Firm up date for Crane for installation.

#3. Assemble sign to new post; grunt, push, wiggle n giggle.
#4. Arrange Cal Trans/Sheriff for traffic control the day of installation.

#5. Installation.
